As a matter of policy, the University considers the contents of proposals as confidential. The Office of Research or any other office with access to awarded proposals will not provide copies of any proposals (except for official use) without written permission from the principal investigator.

Sponsoring agencies have their own regulations on providing copies of proposal documents upon request.

Awarded proposals will not be subject to this policy ten years after proposal submission.
