Faculty Research Support Regular Grant Program

(Deadline October 28, 2013) -Closed- Check back soon for updates.

The Faculty Research Support Regular Grant Program provides funds to support outstanding research, scholarship, or creative expression that will make a major contribution in any field of study. With the exception of national fellowships, projects for which competitive funding is available from external sources are not suitable. Projects should lead to a significant outcome during the period of the award, and thus, the FRSP Regular Grant competition should not be viewed as a seed funding opportunity for the generation of preliminary results.

Library Acquisition Grants Program

Submission details to follow; (deadline February 3, 2014) -Closed- Check back soon for updates.

The Library Acquisition Grants Program is intended to augment library acquisitions in several areas:

  • where acquisitions of unique materials would enhance research in key areas of scholarship;
  • unique situations in which previously unavailable library materials will provide major new primary resources that will significantly augment research capabilities at Notre Dame;
  • or deficient areas that need to be brought up to appropriate levels for a research university.

This program is not meant to replace or be a substitute for the normal means of enhancing the library’s collections, but to provide a means of responding to unique opportunities.
